If you have a positive pregnancy test you should consider an ultrasound exam.  The ultrasound will confirm if the pregnancy is viable and alert you if there are other health concerns to be aware of. Tubal pregnancies or miscarriage can occur in as many as 25% of pregnancies. 1

RealOptions Obria Medical Clinics offers diagnostic ultrasound for positive pregnancy tests to confirm a viable (developing), intrauterine (in the uterus) pregnancy.

At RealOptions, limited obstetrical ultrasounds are performed to:

  • Confirm pregnancy
  • Detect fetal heartbeat
  • Determine fetal age
  • Determine due date
  • Determine location of pregnancy (intrauterine/ectopic)
  • The ultrasound examination will not diagnose gender, abnormalities, and/or problems.
